HDPE is the strongest and least reactive polyolefin material among polyester materials, and its robust and moderately stable properties allow for wide applications. High-density polyethylene has a density greater than or equal to 0.941 grams per cubic centimeter, offering excellent impact resistance, lightweight, low moisture absorption, and high tensile strength, along with non-toxic and non-fading characteristics.
High-density polyethylene pellets are primarily recycled from PET bottle caps and pull tabs, making them easy to mold into shapes for the production of processed plastic bottles, corrosion-resistant pipes, geotextiles, and plastic sheets, among other applications.
